Natiyak sa pag-aaral na ito na malaman ang mga historiko-kultural na pamana sa mga Barcelonanon. Deskriptib-kwalitatibong disenyo ang ginamit sa pananaliksik na ito upang malaman ang mga historiko-kultural na pamana sa mga Barcelonanon. Binubuo ito ng 62 na impormante mula sa Barcelona, Sorsogon. Purposive sampling ang ginamit sa pagpili ng mga impormante. Ginamit ang interbyu iskedyul at talatanungan sa pangangalap ng datos. Sinuri din ang mga nakasulat na dokumentong pangkasaysayan bilang pansuporta sa mga nakalap na datos. Tematik-analisis ang ginamit sa pagsusuri at kaukulang interpretasyon. Nakakalap ang mananaliksik ng 38 na historiko-kultural na pamanang natitinag at hindi natitinag mula sa mga Barcelonanon. Tatlumpu’t tatlo ang nakalap na pamanang natitinag, 29 ang nasa pribadong pag-aari at apat (4) naman ang pag-aari ng publiko. Limang pamanang hindi natitinag naman ang nakalap ng mananaliksik at lahat ito ay pag-aari ng publiko. Iba-iba ang ambag ng pagkilala sa mga historiko-kultural na pamana sa mga Barcelonanon. Ang ambag sa edukasyon ayon sa mga impormante ay mapabubuti ang interdisiplinaryong pag-aaral tulad ng pag-uugnay ng iba’t ibang larangan. Ang ambag naman sa panitikan ay maisasadokumento ang mga historiko-kultural na pamana sa mga Barcelonanon. Samantala, ang ambag naman sa turismo ay mapakikilala ang pinagdaanang kasaysayan at kultura ng Barcelona sa buong mundo. Ang naging kongklusyon ay marami ang mga napanatiling historiko-kultural na pamanang natitinag at hindi natitinag ng mga Barcelonanon. Malaki ang ambag ng pagkilala ng mga ito sa pagpapabuti ng edukasyon, pagpapayabong ng panitikan at pagsulong ng turismo sa Barcelona. Inirekomenda na ipagpatuloy ang pagtuklas sa mga hindi pa natutuklasang mga historiko-kultural na pamanang natitinag at hindi natitinag nang sa gayon mabigyan ito nang wastong pangangalaga at maisalin pa sa mga susunod na henerasyon. Hinihikayat ang sektor ng edukasyon, lokal na komunidad at lokal na pamahalaan na magtulungan sa pagpapalaganap ng kamalayan, pagbuo ng mga programa at polisiya na mangangalaga sa mga pamana at promosyon ng mga ito para sa pagsulong ng turismo sa lugar.
