Abstract
Permenkes 82 of 2013 provides the basis for Hospital Management Information Systems (SIMRS). The system functions as a network that facilitates the coordination, reporting, and administrative processes necessary to get precise information. This study aims to investigate the factors that are impeding the Medical Records Information System at the Lanud Sulaiman RSAU. The fishbone diagram will guide this analysis. The study employs qualitative descriptive methodologies. We gathered data by conducting interviews with the Chief Medical Recorder and IT Staff, in addition to making observations. We conducted the investigation from March to May 2024. During this period, we evaluated the data using a fishbone diagram to consider many factors, including people, financial resources, methodologies, machinery, and materials. The study results indicate a shortage of human resources and a lack of understanding about the system SIMRS. Despite having sufficient funds, there has been no allocation for the purchase of computers or the upkeep of SIMRS. The Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) already incorporates the documented techniques and approaches, yet they remain incompletely implemented. The current machine still doesn't meet our needs. The network connection is suboptimal, leading to frequent faults in SIMRS. Examining the five factors hindering SIMRS, such as a shortage of personnel, insufficient computer resources, and unimplemented funding, we find that frequent mistakes and a lack of understanding about the use of human resources in SIMRS continue to plague SIMRS programs.
