Abstract
The study investigates the distress among children following the death of one parent in Delhi’s children's overall development. In an organization, the family is seen as the essential unit. The family is regarded as society's fundamental building block. In any given civilization, the importance of a parent's immaculate experiences cannot be overstated. These experiences are unquestionably the most crucial key indicators necessary for the growth and advancement of each child. In India, a father, mother, and their offspring have traditionally been considered to be the core members of a family. Both the father and the mother play a part in raising children. Numerous children frequently have missing fathers or mothers due to the loss of one of them. The objectives of this study were to determine the challenges faced by children in their daily activities. The research plan for the study combined quantitative and descriptive methods. Data for this study were gathered using a survey and an interview guide. The review population consisted of 30 people, 21 of whom were children, and 9 professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and psychiatric. Data gathered from respondents were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. By incorporating precise measures According to the study, the majority of children in single-parent families were working class and had normal or below-average monthly salaries (middle-class families). The review asked participants to consider practical solutions that would help children to achieve their goals—be they in their careers, academics, or personal lives—regardless of their parental backgrounds. Children from single-parent families were perceived as being more involved in disciplinary proceedings than those from two-parent households. For single parents and their children, policies like directing and leading should be put in place. Remnants in the form of tables and outlines, the information show was completed.
