Abstract
Edward Said, a great critic and theorist, belonged to the that of Arab which was in conflict with the Jewish community. He thoroughly studied the histoiry of this region and and conflict between the two different peoples. He explored the colonial process of the Western people in the East, especially in the countries of the east. He further more explains how they created a false construct saying that people in the East are all primitive and backward, uncultured and uncivilized". Based on this false construct created in the writings, they colonized the Eastern countries and established they their rule and exploited them to enrich themselves. His book Orientalism is about his theory that explains the process of colonizationm leading to the establishment of and imperialism.
