Natural plant sources are abundant, and formulations based on herbal extracts are more effective. The creation of nano emulsions from herbal extracts, such as "Hibiscus sabdariffa," was the primary focus of research. This study investigates the antibacterial properties of hibiscus sabdariffa root extract as a basis for a nano emulsion formulation. With the help of ultrasonication, micro fluidization, phase inversion, and emulsification procedures, this study aims to manufacture a nano emulsion based on hibiscus sabdariffa. It will then be evaluated using TEM, FTIR, zeta sizer, and polydispersity index. These extract-based nano emulsions can be used to give antibacterial activity specifically to both gram (-) and gram (+) bacteria.
