The tribes of Jharkhand are still in an underdeveloped condition with limited skills to get proper sources of income, especially with the tribal women. While schemes like MNREGA, Tejaswini Rural Women Empowerment programme, etc., help provide them with their livelihood, the same is not enough to make both ends meet. The study, "Entrepreneurial development for the tribal women of Jharkhand", was conducted in the Khunti and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand. Two villages were chosen from each of these districts. A total number of 100 tribal women were surveyed for this study. The results showed the similarity of poverty through which the women of these villages across two districts are passing and are just managing enough to sustain their families and care for basic needs. They have to work hard to make both ends meet, and many have to do two- to three things other than their jobs to earn enough money to manage their day-to-day expenses. This study aims to understand the problems and find ways to enhance the tribal women's livelihood in Jharkhand.
