Abstract
Classroom engagement is a critical event in the teaching-learning process. For a teacher, it is not only vital to deliver a quality lecture, but it is much more important to deliver a lecture in class. A teacher's teaching behaviour is an act that occurs in the context of classroom engagement. There are several forms of classroom interactions because teachers react differently. Certainly, the teacher's behavior pattern influences the behavior of pupils in the classroom. Effective communication skills for teachers are thus as crucial as in-depth understanding of the subject matter. Students in the classroom come from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. A teacher can fix a student's difficulties by using excellent communication. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing are all part of the art of successful communication. These abilities make outstanding instructors because they can convey information, skills, and values while also communicating their concern for the student entrusted to their care. They also aid in motivating students to learn.
