Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging paradigm that encompasses a large number of smart objects and devices that are connected to the Internet and communicate with each other. The system uses a robotic vehicle with three-wheeled propulsion for easy navigation. The robot is operated by the doctor or a nurse, allowing the robot to reach the patient and make a call via a cell phone attached to the base using a hydraulic lift, through which the interaction between doctor and patient takes place. A video call is made so that the doctor and patient can easily communicate with each other. The robot can also check the patient's temperature, which can be viewed by both the doctor and the patient via the display LED. The robot can even detect obstacles in its path and alert the controller. The idea of building a docbot can save doctors a lot of time and also increase the number of patients examined in a given time.
