Abstract
Artificial intelligence, or as we like to call shortly (AI) is significantly impacting the daily life by predicting future events using data and trends, potentially altering behavior and outperforming humans in many activities. AI has the ability to outperform the human work or thought process that is capable of doing complex and complicated tasks, in much more efficient way. The use of artificial intelligence is the current trend most of the organisations are positive to try and has been successfully implemented at various operational, functional and managerial levels in various types of sectors. Human Resource Management is also one of them. Many of the organisation are inclined to for the use of AI in their HRM functions. The use and application of AI enabled tools / software has not only simplified the overall process and functions of human resource department, but has also become almost accurate and error free. The current research paper is an attempt to understand the concept of AI in the most simplified manner. The paper intends to find out the role of AI in HRM practice and to know the practical application of AI in various functions of HRM. This paper is also an attempt to analyse the impact of AI on the HR professionals and future of their job security.
