Abstract
School hygiene and sanitation is directly related with the educational implementation. We know that when we are going to implement or developed education among the students, we need to maintain proper environment for it. In order to maintain this learning environment in an elementary school, fast of all, hygiene and sanitation must be required. If any elementary school has not maintain their proper hygiene or sanitation like clean classrooms, clean toilet, proper water facilities then there has been a chance will be destroy the physical health as well as mental health of the students and it also so impact the enrolment and attendance ratio and this factor become the barrier to achieve the goal of Education. Through this study researcher draw the status of hygiene and sanitation maintain by the elementary schools those are located in Belonia sub-division of South Tripura District. Primary data which is collected by the self observation by the researcher are used to formulate the study and some secondary data also use for selecting the area of population and sample. All the results presented by using percentage method.
