Abstract: Organizational Commitment of Secondary School Teachers in relation to their Social Intelligence Dr. NOWFAL C Assistant Professor Farook Training College University of Calicut Abstract: This study examines the relationship between organizational commitment and social intelligence among secondary school teachers. Organizational commitment refers to the level of dedication and loyalty that individuals have towards their organization, while social intelligence pertains to the ability to understand and navigate social situations effectively. The research aims to explore the significance of these factors in the context of secondary school teaching. The study employs quantitative research methods and data from a sample of 300 secondary school teachers drawn from Calicut, Kannur and Malappuram, districts of Kerala were collected by using organizational commitment scale and social intelligence scale. The findings of this research contribute to the existing body of knowledge on organizational behavior and educational psychology, providing valuable insights for school administrators, policymakers, and educators striving to enhance teacher commitment and promote effective teaching practices.
