Abstract
Urbanization and integrated townships plays an important role in defining urban morphology of any city. The cities of Uttar Pradesh are growing at a rapid rate and the need for sustainable living and infrastructure is the need of the hour. Integrated townships are smart solution to cater this problem and in state of Uttar Pradesh they are emerging at a faster rate, Problem arises due to unsynchronized policy framework creating ambiguity while implementing policy framework. This paper enumerated the trend of Urbanization in Uttar Pradesh and critical assessment of existing integrated townships; it also explains the roots cause of chaos due to policy implementation.
