: Surface acidity/ basicity and of Neodymium - Zirconium mixed oxides at various compositions have been reported at three activation temperatures viz 300oC, 500oC & 800oC. The strength and distribution of acid and base sites on the oxides were determined by titration method using Hammett indicators. . The mixed oxides with various compositions ,Viz 0, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100% of the rare earth oxide were studied.
