Abstract
Healthcare workers (HCWs), who labour in the healthcare profession, must be protected from external skin pathogens because the skin is the most exposed part of the body. The main means by which multidrug resistant pathogens are spread among medical professionals and patients is through their hands. As a result, hand-washing products are increasingly being used as antiseptics. There are a variety of chemical-based handwashes on the market, including alcohol-based sanitizers, chlorohexidine products, soaps, and solutions that help to more effectively decrease the spread of infectious diseases in the healthcare setting. However, these products have some limitations and negative side effects. their regular use may cause staphylococcus and other pathogens to become resistant, as well as cause cutaneous irritation
