Abstract
The goal of this project is to create an Arduino-based monitoring and warning system for coal miners. The system makes use of sensors to find out the environment's temperature, humidity, Gas level, etc… When the measurements go above the safety criteria, the system sets off alerts and notifies users. The collected data is processed in real-time. The miners are equipped with a little device that receives these notifications, allowing them to respond quickly and avert potential mishaps. This technology can considerably increase coal miners' safety and lower the hazards of working in dangerous areas.
