The abstract of a study on the photochemical and pharmacognostic properties of hibiscus would summarise the research conducted on the plant and its active chemical compounds, as well as the plant's traditional medicinal uses. The study would start by introducing the plant species hibiscus and its historical use in traditional medicine. The pharmacognostic properties of hibiscus, such as its morphology, anatomy, and microscopy, would also be studied and described in detail. This information would be used to establish the plant's authenticity and quality control. Finally, the study would discuss the biological activities and potential therapeutic uses of hibiscus and its phytochemical compounds This could include anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-tumor effects.
