The main aim to carry out this research is to get knowledge about Phytochemistry or phytochemical analysis and antioxidant activity of ethanol and chloroform leaf extract (neem powdered) of neem leaves (Azadirachta indica). It has wide application in antioxidant activity in study of cosmetology. The total phenolic content is necessary to study antioxidant activity of plant, and evaluated by diphenyl-B-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging method. Here Ascorbic acid use as a standard with different concentrations. Phytochemical screening or analysis plays important role. It is helpful to study nature chemical constituent which is present in leaves. By performing phytochemical screening we can identify the presence of alkaloids, carbohydrate, phenol, glycoside, flavonoid, steroids, amino acids and proteins. The result which we get suggests us that ethanolic extract has more antioxidant activity as compared to chloroform extract.
