The study highlights the mechanisms used by shareholders—such as proxy battles, shareholder proposals, and institutional investor pressure—to influence boardroom decisions and drive corporate reforms. It also analyzes the legal and regulatory frameworks that facilitate or hinder such activism across jurisdictions.
