In the past few months, we have witnessed a countless number of empty shelves in the grocery stores. There is a growing demand in food and beverage industries during this pandemic, and the supply chains were not prepared to handle the same. An attempt was made to study the change in consumption level of beverages during the course of COVID 19 pandemic by the salaried employees in Chennai city, depending on the demographic conditions. The change in consumption levels was tested using a variety of procedures, including the paired sample test, ANOVA, and Chi square test.
