The goal of this work is to discuss recent advancements in natural fibre reinforced polypropylene (PP) composites. Natural fibres are inexpensive, recyclable, and environmentally friendly. Natural fibres offer a range of chemical, mechanical, and physical qualities that vary according to their cellulose content, which varies from fibre to fibre. Physical modification techniques were used in this study to boost fiber-matrix adhesion, hence improving the composites' mechanical properties. The majority of the time, natural fibres is compounded with a thermoplastic matrix in a twin-screw extruder. The experiment's various composite materials (dog-bone fragments) were created using an Injection Moulding Machine. The objective was to make shrinkage-free dog-done parts and to optimise the injection moulding settings to do this. Jute, ramie, flax, and hemp are the most important natural fibres, and their new processing procedures for the development of natural fibre reinforced composites are also presented. Tensile, flexural, and impact tests on dog- bone sections were conducted in this experiment to compare the strength of natural fibre composites with thermoplastics.
