ABSTRACT The rapid advancement of digital technology and the integration of Financial Technology (Fintech) innovations have fundamentally reshaped the landscape of the global banking and financial services sector. Emerging technologies—including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning algorithms—have streamlined operational workflows, enhanced transactional speed, and significantly reduced human error. However, while this digital transition has driven unprecedented operational efficiency and improved customer experience, it has simultaneously created structural disruptions within traditional human resource frameworks. This research paper evaluates the systemic impact of digital banking and Fintech transformation on workforce dynamics, with a sharp focus on employee reskilling, structural job evolution, talent retention, and organizational change management. As routine transactional tasks—such as manual cash handling, basic credit evaluation, and paper-based data entry—become hyper-automated, the demand for traditional banking roles is rapidly declining. Conversely, there is a surge in demand for a hybrid workforce possessing cross-disciplinary competencies that bridge financial domain expertise with digital fluency, data analytics, cybersecurity compliance, and automated risk management. Through a qualitative and analytical assessment, this study identifies critical skill gaps across operational tiers in modern banking institutions. It highlights major Human Resource (HR) challenges, including employee resistance to technological adoption, techno-stress, talent scarcity in specialized domains, and the risk of rapid skill obsolescence. To mitigate these challenges, the paper proposes a structured, multi-phase HR Framework for continuous employee reskilling and workforce restructuring. The proposed framework emphasizes:
