The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the financial sector, reshaping the way individuals and organizations make financial decisions. AI technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, and automated decision systems have enhanced the accuracy, efficiency, and speed of financial analysis. This study aims to examine the impact of artificial intelligence on financial decision-making by analysing how AI-driven tools influence investment choices, risk assessment, portfolio management, and financial planning among individuals.The research is grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and behavioural finance theory, which explain how users adopt technological systems and how cognitive biases affect financial decisions. A systematic review of existing literature indicates that AI improves decision-making by reducing human errors, providing real-time insights, and enabling data-driven strategies. Additionally, AI-based financial tools such as robo-advisors, algorithmic trading systems, and fraud detection mechanisms play a crucial role in enhancing financial efficiency and security.However, despite these advantages, several challenges remain, including lack of awareness, data privacy concerns, over-reliance on automated systems, and limited human judgment in complex scenarios. These barriers may hinder the effective adoption of AI in financial decision-making. The study also highlights the gap between technological availability and actual usage among individuals, particularly students and early-stage professionals.Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires to analyse user perception, awareness, and behavioural patterns toward AI-based financial tools. The findings suggest that while awareness of AI is relatively high, its practical usage in financial decision-making is moderate. This indicates a gap between knowledge and implementation.The study concludes by emphasizing the need for increased financial literacy, AI awareness programs, and institutional support to encourage the effective use of AI in financial decision-making. It also provides recommendations for improving user trust and adoption of AI-driven financial technologies. This research contributes to the growing literature on digital finance and provides insights for policymakers, financial institutions, and individuals in adapting to AI-driven financial ecosystems.
