Abstract
Legal aid plays a pivotal role in ensuring access to justice for marginalized and vulnerable populations, bridging the gap between legal rights and the ability to assert them. As a cornerstone of social justice, legal aid seeks to address systemic inequalities by providing affordable or free legal services to those who cannot afford them. This is particularly significant in addressing barriers related to poverty, discrimination, and lack of legal literacy. Legal aid systems promote fairness by supporting individuals in navigating complex legal processes, advocating for their rights, and challenging injustices in various domains, such as housing, employment, and criminal law.
