Abstract
This article's primary goal is to develop and assess an effective herbal face pack. The formulation of herbal face pack contains Multani Mitti, Rose Petal, Neem, Aloe Vera, Honey Powder, Lemon Peel, Turmeric. The combination of this herbal ingredient will nourishes and remove dirt and treat various skin problems like acne, wrinkles, dark circles, etc. A herbal face pack is used to keep the skin supple and to remove dirt from the pores of skin organoleptic parameters and skin irritation, washability, pH test, are evaluation test of herbal face pack. The ingredients of herbal face pack work as anti-oxidant, antifungal, anti-inflammatory properties. Four different mixtures that include Multani mitti , aloe vera , turmeric, honey powder , lemon peel , neem powder , rose petals from the local market were prepared and given the designations F1,F2,F3 & F4 respectively . The face pack was prepared and evaluated for various parameters like colour, appearance, pH, washability, as well as stability studies. After evaluation, we found good properties for the face packs, free from skin irritation and maintained its consistency even after stability storage conditions. Now everyone wants to fair and glory skin for attractiveness. cosmetics plays an important role in the attraction or health of person. the major part of our body is skin, skin represent overall health of body. As we know how the skin changes from a new born child to a older age people. herbal face pack is come under cosmetic to treat various skin types such as it treat to reduce acne, dark circles, wrinkles and to reduce production of excess oil by sebaceous gland present in the skin. In today’s world there are various synthetic and herbal formulation are present, instead of synthetic product people may choose herbal product because it didn’t have any side effect. From the ancient time cosmetic play an important role to maintain healthy skin.
