Abstract
This present study aims to examine effects of religiosity and alcohol consumption on the psychological wellbeing of young adults. A multidimensional concept called psychological wellbeing includes things like life satisfaction, good emotions, and mental health. Religiosity, defined as the extent to which individuals adhere to religious beliefs, practices, and values, has been shown to have significant implications for psychological health. Similarly, alcohol consumption has been linked to various psychological outcomes, both positive and negative. The sample consists of 200 individuals including male & female participants The sample mainly consists of people in the age group of 18+ years who are young adults. Both the groups were measured for Religiosity and Alcohol consumption using respective measures. In this study, the data has been obtained with the help of the scales named Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT), Centrality of religiosity (CRS) and Psychological wellbeing (PWS) as well as a demographic information form. SPSS software will be used for this study. Pearson correlation test was used to prove the hypothesis. Findings showcased that there is a significant relationship between Religiosity with Psychological well-being as well as significant relationship between Alcohol consumption and psychological well-being
