This review article provides a critical analysis of the use of herbal drugs in treating HIV/AIDS, focusing on their traditional and modern applications. We delve into various herbal remedies, examining their active compounds, how they work, and the clinical evidence that backs their effectiveness. The review comprehensively brings together findings from multiple studies, highlighting both the potential advantages and hurdles linked to incorporating herbal therapies into conventional treatment plans. Furthermore, we tackle safety concerns, potential drug interactions, and emphasize the significance of standardization in herbal preparations. This article strives to enhance understanding of herbal medicine as a valuable part of holistic HIV/AIDS management by offering a thorough overview, thus promoting additional research and clinical investigations.
