Abstract
The metal forming technique called tube bending is used to permanently create pipes or tubing. Form-bound (secure with a cover of bending) and freeform-bending processes need to be distinguished from one another, as does supported from cold forming. Form bound bending procedures such as "rotary draw bending" or The process of "press bending" is utilized to form the work item into a die shape. A bending machine may be used to alter materials that are straight tubes. into the required shape and make a range of single or multiple bends. Using this technique, many ductile metal tubing types can be formed into intricate shapes. Freeform bending techniques, such as three-roll-push bending, utilize kinematic shaping of the work piece, meaning that the tool geometry has no bearing on the bending contour. The presentation includes information on rotary draw tube (pipe) bending, machinery elements, their functions, the influence they have on bending moment and the types of failures they can have. There are several methods for deforming tubes. Rotating tube bending machines are among the most practical forms; they are utilized in numerous industries, including HVAC systems, automotive, and aerospace.. Bend shaping requires careful treatment of each component since it is essential that all system components fit correctly after manufacture, ensuring consistent production processes and high-quality final products. However, it also has certain drawbacks, like creases, breaking, validation, and spring back. This failure is influenced by the geometry of the substance, encompassing the tube's thickness, bending radius, and friction coefficient between the dies and the tube. It is necessary to analyze the effects of every parameter before formulating the optimal solution's hypothesis. Predicting the necessary time for an effective, affordable, and time-saving bending process is therefore essential.
