Abstract
Natiyak sa pag-aaral na ito ang ambag ng Spoken Word Poetry sa panitikang Sorsoganon. Kwalitatib-deskriptib-analisis ang disenyong ginamit upang maunawaan ang pananaw ng mga impormante mula sa mga ibinahaging akda. Binubuo ito ng 15 na mag-aaral mula sa Probinsiya at lungsod ng Sorsogon na tinaguriang manunulat ng Spoken Word Poetry. Sa pagpili ng mga impormante gumamit ang mananaliksik ng Purposive sampling at Snowball technique. Isinagawa ang pakikipanayam at sarbey upang punan ang mga impormasyon na kailangan sa pag-aaral na ito. Ang mga nalikom na spoken word poetry ay binigyan ng interpretasyon ng mananaliksik sa pamamagitan ng pag-aanalisa ng mga akda. Nanguna sa mga paksain ng naisulat na Spoken Word Poetry ang pagmamahal, karanasan, pag-asa at paninidigan, pagkakaibigan, kalikasan, nasyonalismo. Nakita din ang mga aral na pagmamahal ang pinakamahalagang sangkap sa pagpapanatili ng isang relasyon, ang pagpapahalaga sa karanasan ay gintong ala-ala ng isang tao, magkaroon ng pag-asa sa lahat ng oras at laging manindigan para sa tama, ang pagkakaibigang tapat samahan ay tumatagal, mayaman ang kalikasan na ibinigay sa tao kaya’t nararapat lamang na pangalagaan ito, at nararapat lamang na tangkilikin ang yaman ng sariling bansa. Nakita din ang 2 kasanayang pampagkatuto sa elementarya, 5 sa sekundarya at 3 sa tersiyarya na nakatuon sa pagsulat ng Spoken Word Poetry. Natuklasan na ang mga naisulat na Spoken Word Poetry ay kadalasang hango sa sariling karanasan, obserbasyon at pananaw ng mga manunulat ng akda. Ipinapakita ang kamalayan ng mga mag-aaral sa iba’t ibang isyung panlipunan na kalimitang nakikita, naririnig at nararanasan ng mga kabataan sa kasalukuyang henerasyon. Ang mga naitalang spoken word poetry ay gumamit din ng mga elementong nakapaloob sa isang tradisyunal na tula tulad ng tugma, saknong at talinghaga.
