Abstract

The importance of early fire detection systems cannot be exaggerated as they have a crucial function in ensuring the safety of human lives and preserving property. Conventional fire detection systems, which mainly depend on sensors to identify smoke, heat, or gas releases, often encounter issues with excessive false alarms and delayed reaction times. These constraints may result in ineffective emergency interventions and heightened potential for danger. Deep learning technology integrated with fire detection systems provides a possible answer to these difficulties. The objective of this project is to create a fire detection alarm system that utilizes sophisticated deep learning algorithms to improve the precision, dependability, and efficiency of fire detection. Deep learning, a subfield of artificial intelligence, has shown exceptional achievements in many domains such as image identification, natural language processing, and autonomous driving. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), a category of deep learning models, are highly suitable for tasks involving the analysis of images and videos. This makes them perfect for the real-time detection of fire and smoke in video feeds. This research utilizes Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and other advanced machine learning methods to construct a resilient fire detection system that can accurately identify fire-related incidents with a high level of accuracy.
