Abstract
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) represent a significant technological advancement aimed at enhancing road safety and reducing accidents. However, their implementation comes with several challenges and limitations. This paper explores the complexities of ADAS technology, including its reliance on sophisticated data processing and analysis, the integration of multiple sensors and cameras, and the associated costs. Additionally, practical drawbacks such as false alarms, driver overreliance, and limited effectiveness in certain conditions are discussed. Despite these challenges, ADAS systems offer promising benefits in mitigating human errors and improving overall road safety. Addressing these drawbacks requires ongoing technological innovation, regulatory oversight, and collaboration among stakeholders. This abstract provides a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges associated with ADAS technology, emphasizing the importance of continued research and development to maximize its potential impact on road safety.
