Abstract
Background : Urinary incontinence is a common condition in women worldwide, which can be distressing both physically and mentally and burdensome to the individual and society . Many women may first experience urinary incontinence during pregnancy. Physiological changes during pregnancy such as increased abdominal pressures and progesterone levels and injury to the pelvic floor may make women more susceptible to urinary incontinence .As a result, more than half of women suffered from urinary incontinence during pregnancy and peaked in the third trimester. The ICID and ICIQ scale were used in this study to corelate between urinary incontinence and quality of life . Methods : This is a cross sectional study which was conducted in the Vikhe Patil Memorial Hospital, Ahmednagar, Obstetrics & Gynaecology ward. A total 40 antenatal women participated in this study. Result : Total 40 antenatal women participated in this study in which the shows there is significant relationship between urinary incontinence and quality of life as there is affected in urinary incontinence quality of life get also affected . There is positive correlation between ICIQ scale and QUID scale. Conclusion : The study concluded that there is corelation between urinary incontinence and quality of life in ANC women .Finding these expected results
