Abstract
The demand for herbal skincare products has surged remarkably owing to their perceived safety and efficacy. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a novel herbal peel-off face mask using bean fruit powder and avarmpoo flower extract. The aim is to harness the potential synergistic effects of these natural ingredients in providing skin benefits, such as antiacne, moisturizing, smoothening, removal of dead skin, and removal of dirt. The peel-off face mask formulations were prepared using a combination of bean fruit powder and avarmpoo flower extract along with other selected excipients. Various physicochemical parameters, including pH, viscosity, spreadability, and drying time, were optimized to ensure product stability and efficacy. Additionally, sensory evaluation was conducted to assess attributes, such as colour, odour, texture, and overall acceptability.
