Abstract

This research endeavours to examine the behaviour of Geosynthetic Reinforcement Soil (GRS) under various loading conditions in order to predict the deformation characteristics of GRS mass using the Soil-Geosynthetic Performance (SGP) test. The theory, materials, applications, and benefits of geosynthetic reinforcement are covered comprehensively in this paper. There is an improvement in the soil's bearing capacity, erosion control, and overall stability. Geosynthetic reinforcements, like geotextiles, geogrids, or geocells, offer advantages including high tensile strength, excellent flexibility, and resistance to environmental degradation.
