This project presents a sentiment analysis model tailored to process textual data, focusing on comments sourced from YouTube videos, to ascertain the underlying sentiment therein. Employing a novel hybrid approach, it amalgamates the VADER [1] and RoBERTa [2] sentiment analysis techniques, augmenting accuracy and reliability. Serving as the primary analyzer, VADER is complemented by RoBERTa, invoked when VADER's output is inconclusive. Subsequently, sentiments are categorized into predefined categories like Very Positive, Positive, Neutral, Negative, and Very Negative based on computed sentiment scores. Furthermore, the paper encompasses functionalities facilitating the visualization of sentiment distributions through pie charts and the generation of word clouds to encapsulate frequently occurring words in comments. Additionally, it offers utilities to persist sentiment analysis results in CSV format for further analysis or reporting purposes.
