An experiment entitled “Effect of different dose of seaweed sap on growth, yield and yield attributes of hybrid maize under Kachchh region of Gujarat state” was carried out at farm of C. C. Shroff Research Institute, Mandvi campus during kharif 2023. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design consisting three different concentrations doses of seaweed sap extract and replicated thrice. Treatments comprises three different doses of seaweed sap 6 ml/l, 8 ml/l and 10 ml/l. The result revealed that significantly maximum plant height at harvest (172.29 cm), green cob weight with husk (356.78 g), Test Weight (4.38 g) cob yield (18.29 t/ha) and grain yield (4.68 t/ha) were observed with application of seaweed sap dose @ 10 ml/l during the experiment. However, minimum plant height at harvest (143.53 cm), green cob weight with husk (326.18 g), cob yield (14.79 t/ha) and grain yield (3.73 t/ha) were observed in the control. Whereas, number of cobs per plant, Cob length with husk (cm), Cob circumference with husk (cm) and Number of grains per cob were produce non-significant effect on hybrid maize.
