Abstract

Potholes on roadways pose significant risks to both drivers and pedestrians, leading to accidents, vehicle damage, and even fatalities. In order to ensure the safety of roads and prompt maintenance, it is vital that potholes are detected in a real time. In order to enhance monitoring and management of road infrastructure, this paper introduces a novel approach for pothole detection using the Internet of Things IoT technology integrated into Raspberry Pi.
