Optical fiber is the medium through which data is travelled as light travel along a glass or fiber. Optical fiber system faces problems like dispersion, attenuation and non-linear effects. Among them dispersion affects the system most. Dispersion increases along the fiber length. There are different techniques are used for analyzing dispersion in optical fiber like Dispersion compensation by using EDFA and Dispersion compensation by using Pre DCF etc.
