| Abstract: | The current study was set out to ascertain Azadirachta indica L. efficacy against bacteria that are unique to acne. During the study Alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, terpenoids, phenol, carbohydrates, acid, steroid, reducing sugar, and flavonoids. A total of twenty samples were collected for the study and subjected to additional processing in order to identify and isolate them. The two most prevalent bacteria were Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acne. The activity of Azadirachta indica was investigated in Methanol, Ethanol, and Aqueous solutions. Ethanol extracts exhibited significant activity, where as Aqueous and Methanol extracts showes moderate efficacy. Similarly, an unrefined herbal face cleanser with a neem basic was made for the trial. The produced facewash's antibacterial activity was further investigated, significant and results found. |
