Acting in accordance with predefined criteria, smart contracts guarantee transparency and integrity in activities such as access control and evidence monitoring. Because of blockchain's decentralized structure and cryptographic principles, this system significantly improves data security. It is extremely resistant to tampering and illegal access, which is essential for preserving the integrity of the evidence. The immutable and dependable record of investigative events is guaranteed by the immutability of blockchain records. In the end, this creative integration strengthens the reliability of forensic investigations inside the legal and criminal justice framework by streamlining processes, lowering errors, and offering an unbreakable and visible chain of custody.
