Abstract
The development of talking ATMs for visually impaired individuals addresses a crucial need for inclusive banking services. These ATMs provide audio guidance through a headphone jack or telephone handset, enabling independent use by those who cannot read screens. Utilizing pre-recorded speech or synthesized speech, the system guides users through various transactions like balance inquiries, cash withdrawals, and fund transfers, with multilingual and dialect-friendly options. Moreover, voice-assisted ATMs incorporate speech recognition for identity verification and provide feedback and confirmation during transactions. The proposed Voice Assist ATM system enhances banking accessibility by integrating advanced voice recognition and natural language processing technologies, ensuring secure, personalized, and user-friendly interactions, thus setting a new standard for inclusive and efficient banking services.
