Abstract: Margaret Atwood's The Heart Goes Last presents a frequenting vision of a dystopian world where societal collapse and dictator control rule incomparable. Set in a near-future America, the novel takes after the lives of Stan and Charmaine, a few battling to outlive within the middle of financial and social turmoil. As they grapple with unemployment and vagrancy, they are advertised an apparently idealize arrangement:cooperation within the Positron Extend, a social try that guarantees security and steadiness in trade for surrendering their independence. This exposition dives into the complex layers of Atwood’s dystopian story, analyzing the subjects of control and the disintegration of person flexibility.
