Abstract
This project introduces an affordable and intelligent floor cleaning robot prototype designed for both residential and commercial settings. Our robot offers features such as gesture mapping, self-cleaning capabilities, and remote control functionality. The inclusion of gesture control, object identification for hard-to-reach areas, and integration with the ROS Teleop algorithm for operation represent significant advancements. One unique aspect of this work is the integration of gesture control and object recognition, enhancing the robot's ability to locate objects in challenging locations like under furniture. This robot is intended for floor cleaning in homes, offices, hospitals, and other environments. It offers multiple control options, including gesture control for individuals with disabilities and an Android application for remote operation. This robot is poised to revolutionize the cleaning industry, offering a more efficient and user-friendly solution for everyday cleaning tasks.
