Ce projet de recherche explore l’influence profonde de la culture française à Pondichéry, en Inde, en explorant diverses facettes allant de l’histoire aux manifestations contemporaines. Commençant par une introduction au sujet, il navigue à travers les annales de l’histoire coloniale française dans la région, élucidant son impact durable. L’étude explore le paysage architectural façonné par les conceptions et les techniques françaises, ainsi que l’omniprésence de la langue française dans le discours et l’éducation locaux. Il examine comment l’influence culturelle française imprègne les formes d’art, favorisant une riche mosaïque d’identités hybrides. En outre, il examine le rôle des initiatives d’enseignement du français à Pondichéry et l’évolution de la cuisine franco-indienne, incarnant la fusion culturelle. Le projet met également en lumière les festivals et les célébrations d’origine française qui contribuent à la mosaïque culturelle de Pondichéry, attirant les touristes et favorisant le développement économique. A travers une analyse des tendances touristiques et des indicateurs économiques, il éclaire les implications plus larges de l’influence française sur le paysage socio-économique de Pondichéry. En conclusion, la recherche souligne l’héritage durable de la culture française à Pondichéry, façonnant son identité et favorisant une interaction dynamique des traditions, enrichissant les sphères culturelles locales et mondiales.
