Abstract
ABSTRACT This study explores the analytical purview of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) payments on financial inclusion and the business sector. While questionnaires provide valuable primary data, limitations like sample bias and potential for misreporting necessitate a multifaceted approach. Combining survey data with official statistics and incorporating qualitative interviews with both individuals and businesses can offer a more comprehensive understanding. The study acknowledges that the time frame might not capture the full impact on evolving businesses and the long-term trends of UPI's influence. Looking ahead, the future scope of UPI payments presents exciting possibilities for further financial inclusion and business sector transformation. These include features like UPI AutoPay simplifying financial management, Buy Now, Pay Later services boosting sales, and embedded functionalities streamlining transactions. Additionally, expanding UPI for cross-border transactions could reshape international trade and global financial inclusion. By acknowledging limitations and exploring future potential, researchers can gain a deeper understanding of UPI's role in shaping the financial landscape.
