| Abstract: | Freedom is strength, rights and it is one of the needs to get the power. Freedom gives new thinking for human beings. The Underground Railroad is about the African people’s oppression in the custody of American people. This delivered the human spirit of the African people to take a risk factor to escape through Underground Railroad to get the freedom. Colson Whitehead The Underground Railroad (2016) analyses the historical importance of the Underground Railroad as a secret network that make possible to escape the women to get freedom during the 19th Century. The article explores the motivation of the women to get the freedom beyond the creation of the Underground Railroad and other slaves who accompanied with the women to escape through the Underground Railroad. This symbolizes the seeking for freedom from the partners. This article investigates the benefaction to a huge understanding of the complexities for the freedom in the American history. |
