An OTP Based Secure Online Transaction using Face Recognition

In this presentation, we will discuss an innovative method for online transactions using face recognition technology. This method aims to enhance security and convenience by combining two-factor authentication with biometric identification. OTP-Based and Face Recognition Online Transaction The first component of this method is the use of One-Time Passwords (OTPs) for authentication. When initiating an online transaction, the user will receive a unique OTP on their registered mobile number. They will then need to enter this OTP on the transaction page to proceed. The second component is the integration of face recognition technology. After entering the OTP, the user will be prompted to capture a live image of their face using their device's camera. This image will be compared to the stored facial data to verify the user's identity. Conclusion The OTP-based online transaction using face recognition offers a secure and convenient solution for online transactions. By leveraging the power of biometric identification, this method enhances security while ensuring a seamless user experience.
