Social media influencers establish themself as expert within a particular field and share their own knowledge with the listed audience and more social channels. In recent times, social media influencers have turned into powerful forces within the world of brand promotion and marketing. Through the right collaboration, any individual and business can reach their target audience beyond building credibility and brand trust. This research paper presents the role of social media influencers within Indian marketing through an analysis of effectiveness, opportunities and challenges. This paper involves a literature review, secondary qualitative method and evaluation for a crucial understanding of the impact and ethical consideration regarding influencer marketing within India.
