The policy seeks to address the diverse needs of students and equip them with the skills and knowledge to meet the changing demands of the 21st century. It focuses on transforming the way in which academic institutions are managed and governed. It also looks into introducing technology-enabled solutions to facilitate learning in the classrooms. The purpose of a national education policy is to provide a vision of quality education and to set standards for teaching and learning. It is intended to ensure that instruction meets the needs of each student in all areas of life. In addition, the policy establishes the rights and responsibilities of the citizens of the country in regards to formal education. It also outlines guidelines for managing resources, such as access to resources, addressing gender and cultural diversity, and managing educational institutions. To fulfil its mandate, a national education policy needs to have a number of defining characteristics. First, it must provide a set of comprehensive goals. The successful implementation of NEP 2020 will create a new and improved system of education in India, one that is equitable and accessible to all.
