Abstract
This study examines the intricate network of social factors that impact the health outcomes of mothers and children in Bangladesh. By conducting a comprehensive analysis of existing literature and data, the study identifies significant determinants such as socioeconomic status, education, healthcare accessibility, cultural customs, and geographical disparities. The findings demonstrate the existence of persistent health disparities among various demographic groups, with poverty, limited education, and inadequate healthcare access presenting substantial obstacles. Cultural practices, deeply ingrained in tradition, also shape patterns of seeking healthcare, thereby requiring interventions that are culturally sensitive. The recommendations put forth encompass prioritizing education, implementing initiatives to alleviate poverty, expanding healthcare infrastructure, promoting gender equality, encouraging community involvement, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. These recommendations aim to tackle the multifaceted challenges and enhance health outcomes for mothers and children, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more equitable society in Bangladesh.
