The current landscape of engineering education poses a formidable challenge in equipping students with practical programming skills, resulting in a pronounced gap between theoretical under- standing and real-world application. This discrepancy inhibits the development of proficient programmers, limiting their ability to meet the demands of contemporary technology environments. To address this pressing issue, we propose ”Code- SAGA,” an innovative interactive learning plat- form designed to provide a comprehensive solution. This research paper explores the design, implementation, and evaluation of ”Code-SAGA” as a transformative solution to the challenges in engineering education which includes an innovative blend of interactive elements, gamified learning experiences through which students learns fundamentals of coding by playing specially designed coding games, quizzes and personalized support mechanisms, ”Code-SAGA” aspires to narrow the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The proposed platform stands at the intersection of education and technology, offering a promising avenue for the development of proficient programmers poised for success in the dynamic landscape of contemporary programming.
